A bit of an apples to orange comp. I think a better one would have been Link vs. Quant and maybe Avax vs. Tron, given the utility of these coins. One weakness of Link is the inherent weakness/distrust of oracles themselves. Oracleless apps will have no use for Link if they gain currency among traders who want a more free market basis for pricing of assets. Avax may have better upside potential given defi applications, subnets, and capacity for rwa tokenization which was not mentioned. Nor was their any mention of liquid staking and defi options. Good video though. Interesting. Will Avax one day flip Tron due to a more multidimensional use case? Time will tell.

AVAX Price Prediction: Flatlined Momentum and a Critical Floor — $5.80 or $7.00 Next?

Avalanche (AVAX) Price: Breakout Pattern Points to $150 Target
Ecosystem is over 2000 protocols. $LINK is massively undervalued but hey, I don't mind, I buy as much as I can haha
Where do they get the funds for this type of grant?
720 million cap. All projects competing $147 is just a number and it will surpass it
True, but what's with the $147 -level? The 720m cap makes me very optimistic in contrast to other cryptos with immense volumes dumped in the market. Most ppl don't realise this. AVAX-escrow is done by 2030, and then there will be released no more coins, and the gas will take full effect in burning.
Avalanche is the one multiplying in the undergrowth and exploding when ripe.
el token no vale mucho después de que llegó a 140 esta en 9 usd ha perdido más del 100% y cuando sube un poco sus propios fundadores venden masivamente y unden el valor cada vez más, mucha tecnología y algunas memes tienen más valor y a largo plazo.
Maybe you are thinking about the escrow, it's done by 2030, no more dilution after that.
Season of adoption is real.
My immediate thought is that if it's good enough for BlackRock, JP Morgan and Citigroup, it's good enough for me.
Agreed, and it's good for all!!
What isAvalanche
OverviewAvalanche is a decentralized, open-source platform designed for launching smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps). The project aims to provide high throughput, low transaction finality latency, and energy efficiency through its own consensus protocol. The ecosystem includes three built-in blockchains: X‑Chain (for creating and exchanging assets), C‑Chain (EVM-compatible), and P‑Chain (for coordinating validators and subnets).
The platform was launched in response to the scalability issues and high fees characteristic of older networks. Avalanche uses an architecture where multiple subnets can operate in parallel without competing for the main chain's resources. This allows developers to create customized blockchains with their own rules. Unlike Ethereum, where all transactions are processed on a single chain, Avalanche's approach enables horizontal scaling.
The Snowman consensus, underlying the C‑Chain, achieves finality in 1-2 seconds, making the platform suitable for applications requiring instant transaction finality. As of Aug 3, 2026, the ecosystem continues to develop, attracting both DeFi protocols and enterprise solutions.
What Makes It Unique
The main differentiator is the consensus mechanism based on a "snowball" validator poll (metastable protocol), which simultaneously ensures decentralization and throughput. Additionally, native support for multiple virtual machines (C‑Chain is EVM-compatible, and P‑Chain allows creating custom VMs). A unique feature is the ability to issue custom assets on X‑Chain without writing smart contracts.
Avalanche Features
Technical Information
The base protocol consists of three interconnected chains, each with its own role. The consensus is Snowman (a modification of Avalanche Consensus for ordered data). Finality speed is under 2 seconds. The network can process thousands of transactions per second (TPS), though exact values depend on load and the number of subnets. Updates are implemented through token governance by validators.
Subnet technology allows creating dedicated blockchains with their own validators and access rules. This enables compatibility with various regulatory requirements (e.g., for licensed financial instruments).
Tokenomics
The AVAX token is used to pay fees, for staking, and network governance. The maximum supply is fixed at 720 million coins. A portion of tokens was burned after launch. The emission is designed to decrease over time: inflation is regulated by the community through voting. The initial distribution included sales to investors, an ecosystem fund, and the team, with a significant portion of tokens unlocked early according to a vesting schedule. The current circulating supply is 431,771,961, with a total supply of 463,441,061.
Security of AVAX
The project's code has been audited by several independent firms (including Trail of Bits, Halborn). No critical vulnerabilities leading to user fund loss have been recorded. However, in 2022, attackers targeted the Avalanche cross-chain bridge (Synapse project), leading to a temporary asset lockup, but this was not related to the protocol's own security. The platform uses a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) model with mandatory validator staking, creating economic incentives for honest behavior. The community responds promptly to discovered vulnerabilities through a bug bounty program.

Investors and Funds
Information about investors from research notes is unavailable. Public sources mention venture funds such as a16z, Polychain Capital, and Three Arrows Capital as participants in funding rounds. However, without confirmation from the notes, this data is not presented as precise.
Key Partnerships and Ecosystem
No consolidated data on integrations from the notes. In the general context, partnerships with Chainlink (oracles) and The Graph (data indexing) are known. The ecosystem includes decentralized exchange protocols (Pangolin, Trader Joe), lending platforms (AAVE, Curve), as well as gaming and NFT projects. Without relying on the notes, an exact list is not provided.
Potential
Technological growth factors include compatibility with Ethereum (EVM) and the ability to launch subnets, attracting enterprise developers. The focus on finality speed and low fees makes the network competitive for DeFi and micropayments. Work continues on increasing throughput and improving developer tools. Market potential is supported by the growing number of subnets and the migration of projects from more expensive blockchains.
Risks [Identified by Finkonkurs AI Analytics System]
Regulatory risks: due to decentralized governance and the absence of a single legal entity, the project may face requirements from individual jurisdictions. Technical risks: despite audits, the complex multi-chain architecture creates an attack surface for cross-chain bridges. Tokenomic risks: high early-stage inflation and investor token unlocks may put pressure on the price. Competitive pressure: Solana, Ethereum (via L2 solutions), and other high-performance blockchains offer similar characteristics. No detailed cases from the notes are available.
Related Individuals
Since the research notes contain no data, information on individuals is limited to publicly known facts. Co-founders: Emin Gün Sirer - a renowned scholar in decentralized systems, professor at Cornell University; Kevin Sekniqi - a specialist in consensus algorithms; Ted Yin - developer of the Snowman protocol. All work at the Ava Labs headquarters. More detailed facts about their past projects, public statements, or controversies require verified sources and are therefore not included here.
